Prabhas Is The Busiest Superstar Of Indian Cinema
Beating even the super-prolific Akshay Kumar’s track-record , Prabhas has 7 films lined up for release in 2021-22, the pandemic permitting
The first one out would be Radhe Shyam which is the Telugu superstar’s first full-fledged love story, followed by Om Raut’s mythological Adipurush. Prabhas plays Lord Rama. Kriti Sanon plays Sita while Saif Ali Khan is cast as Ravan.
Interestingly the team wanted an actor who neither smoked, drank, or womanized. Prabhas ticked all the boxes.
These are ready for release . Prabhas has 5 other films on the floors, including Salaar in Telugu and Kannada directed by Prashanth Neel the KGF helmer, and director Ashwini Nag’s
untitled sci-fi filmin Telugu and Hindi. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.Producer Priyanka Dutt reveals, “It is a science fiction, and we hope to release in 2022 depending on the Covid situation. Contrary to rumours Mr Bachchan doesn’t have a cameo. He features in a full-length role, like Prabhas.”
She also reveals that the film is yet to be titled.
Prabhas also has Sandeep(Arjun Reddy) Banga’s Spirit which will be Prabhas’ 25th release.
With the pandemic playing havoc with all the schedules Prabhas has put at least 3 projects on hold preferring to clear the backlog first rather than jumping into more projects.
