On Friday when the world woke up to the delights of Jon Favreau’s Jungle Book, [tooltip id="c1b465420d07c688942ed18eadfd9f92" keyword_color="#000000" background_color="#ffffff"][tooltip id="4db8f5608d45f5de7881d9bce162f4bf"]Salman Khan">[/tooltip][/tooltip] was also at a theatre with his brother Sohail. What Salman had not anticipated was the presence of the electronic medium asking what he thought of the film. Salman refused to oblige.
Says a friend of the star, “Someone had tipped off the press that Salman was reaching to see Jungle Book.We don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out which element stood to gain if Salman recommended the film. But he hates being used for publicity. Ask nicely, he will do anything. But don’t try to trick him into doing favours. When Salman realized that the press had been told he was watching Jungle Book, so he recommend the film, he was upset. Though he made sure not to snap at any reporter he refused to talk about the film after seeing it.”
Salman was seen politely but firmly asking the reports to leave.
Apparently Salman didn’t even pose for pictures in front of the film’s poster . As far as he was concerned it was a family outing with his brother, and what were the media persons doing there?
We applaud Salman for not allowing himself to be used for publicity without taking his consent.
