Avinash Tiwary To Play Dawood In Farhan-Ritesh Sidhwani’s Mega-Series

 It is  not  official as  yet. But here is the  next big webseries after  Made In Heaven and  The Inside Edge  from Farhan Akhtar and  Ritesh Sidhwani’s  Excel Entertainment.

The  producers are now  putting together  a 3-season series of ten episodes  each called  Dubai To Dongri. The  series is based  on veteran  journalist  and crime writer  S Hussain  Zaidi’s book delineating the  genesis  of  the  Mumbai Mafia. 

The  main protagonist  of  the saga is Dawood Ibrahim .

Young Avinash Tiwary, seen recently in the Karan  Johar segment  of  Netflix’s  Ghost Stories,has been cast as  Dawood.  Apparently the actor is  looking at all the video footage on  Dawood he can get his hands on.

 Let’s hope he is  able  to find Dawood’s bearings . Before Tiwary Rishi Kapoor tried playingDawood in  Nikhil Advani’s D Day with unsatisfactory results.
