Scoop : Katrina To Do Her First Horror/Supernatural Film

Katrina Kaif is slowly and steadily regaining her superstardom. If on one end she has  signed a big-budget  sureshot blockbuster  like Sooryavansham  with her old hit co-star Akshay Kumar ,  on  the other end  she is now getting nominally experimental, doing her  first supernatural thriller . 
It is  a film  titled Phonebhoot(yes bhoot, as in ghost)  and it is produced by her oldfriends FarhanAkhtar and  Ritesh Sidhwai on Excel Entertainment.

Katrina has  done one  of her best films Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara with this  tea,

 The  eerie  shiver-giver Phonebhoot  is to be directed by Gurmeet Singh  who has  earlier worked with Farhan and Ritesh on the  web series  Inside Edge.

Phonebhoot is rumoured to be ghost story like none  other. Katrina’s co-stars  are SiddhantChaturvedi and  Ishan Khattar.

 The  younger the better, we  suppose.

Katrina’s career has  been under a  cloud ever since her  relationship with  Ranbir Kapoor ended. Resounding flops like  Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero were followed  by a reasonable  success like Bharat, courtesy her mentor Salman Khan.  Now she is all set to hit back with  films that do her stardom proud.
