Sequel  Of Liger Already In The Pipeline

With the trailer of Karan  Johar’s Liger out  in the public domain and with its  high-flying stunts soaring to  the  top of popularity charts, Karan   now  has a  huge  promotional strategy chalked  out for  Vijay Deverakonda before the release of Liger  on 25  August. This   will include  a multiple-city tour, the way it used to be  during  the pre-Covid phase when stars travelled across India to promote their films.

Vijay Devarakonda  accompanied by his romantic lead  Ananya Pandey is  all set to undertake  a multiple city tour which  will take him as far down North India as Varanasi, Patna and Allahabad.

Says  a source close to Karan Johar, “Karan is not worried about the  South where Vijay is already King. It is the North  that Karan wants to  capture with  Vijay Deverakonda .”

With recent films not doing well, Karan  Johar is hoping that Liger would revive the glory days of his production house.

Says  the source, “Karan  Johar has signed Vijay Deverakonda for a  three-film deal. Liger director  Puri  Jagannadh is  already  working on a sequel to Liger.”

Apparently  Karan expects  Liger to be Dharma Productions  most profitable venture  during the past five years.
