Shabana Azmi Reunites With Aparna Sen For Sonata

Shabana Azmi and Aparna Sen  who have teamed up in the past for the classic Sati(the saga of a mute woman who marries a tree) and later for the domestic drama 15 Park Avenue, and also  that the heartwarming telefilm Picnic, is all set to be reunited with Aparna Sen for the fourth time, this this time for an English-language film entitled Sonata.

Confirming this, Shabana says, “From 19 September I go into workshop in Kolkata for Aparna’s new film. WithAparna, I have the most amazing tuning. We communicate to each other on the sets  without having to speak.”

Sonata will be a crucial film for Aparna Sen, as her last film Arshinagar in Bengali was a miserable failure.
