The Kashmir Files

Vivek  Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files is determined to make history in one  way or another. Having smashed  all boxoffice records, it is  now creating history on  another  level altogether.

The highly  controversial film has now been  released in sign language for the hearing impaired, on OTT.This is the first Hindi film in sign language.

Vivek Agnihotri is overwhelmed with emotions. “This is beyond anything we had ever  imagined. What is happening to The Kashmir Files is no longer in our hands. It has winged off into places we had never imagined it would go.”

Darshan Kumaar who plays the  lead role of a displaced Kashmiri Pandit is especially  grateful for  his film reaching the  specially abled.  “The Kashmir Files is a heart-wrenching story of the pain, suffering and  struggle. I believe everyone should know about this story as it’s a reminder to all the people of the world to stand united and fight against the brutal acts of terrorism. It gives us a message to live in harmony and make this world a better place to live in.”
Darshan  feels  cinema  needs to be more sensitive towards  the specially abled sections of our society. “As this movie is very close to my heart I am extremely happy that Kashmir Files has reached our specially abled audiences and hope to receive a lot of love from them.”
