5 Reasons To Watch Sooryavanshi, A Sneek Peak

  1. The wait is worth  it. Rohit Shetty  and Akshay Kumar  are here in Sooryavanshi. Together  For  The  First  Time:  The two superstars  were  planning a  film together  for the longest time. Akshay would joke  that Shetty  ko  Ajay Devgan se phursat miley tab woh kissi aur  ke saath  kaam kare. In his defence, Rohit Shetty did  two  films  with  Shah Rukh Khan and  one with Ranveer Singh before finally teaming  up with Akshay. The result is explosive. Akshay  Kumar has never been more agile more  perky and  kinetic .  After the droopy performance in Bell Bottom, Sooryavanshi proves Akshay is at  the  top of his game.

  2. Rohit Shetty’s cop universe is expanding. Singham(Ajay Devgan), Simmba(Ranveer Singh) now Sooryavanshi(Akshay  Kumar). Rumour has  it that  another cop universe  is to  kick off with Kartik Aaryan .Of  the three khaki kingdoms created by Shetty so far  , Sooryavanshi is   the smartest.  The  writing is slick and on-the-ball.  While Devgan’s Singham and  Ranveer’s Simmba were South remakes, this  one  is  an original. And relentlessly interesting.
  3. The action sequences in Sooryavanshi are  not only on a par with Singham. They are better. Akshay’s forte has always been  action and  comedy. This  time he pulls out all the  stops with  some of the  most heart-in-the-mouth stunts he has ever performed, so  much so that his wife Twinkle and son Aarav are said  to be very  upset  with  Akshay for breaking the  family code: no risky stunts.
  4. On the  minus side, fans of Katrina  Kaif are  in for a disappointment. Katrina  hardly has much to do. In fact  she has  much less of  a part  to perform than Sara Ali Khan in  Simmba. And that’s saying a lot .
  5. But hang on , don’t   let the  Kaif factor dampen your  spirits. The lengthy  25-minute climax of Sooryavanshi featuring  Ajay Devgan and  Ranveer Singh will have the audiences falling  off the edge of their seats. It is one of the most explosive  and  dhamakedaar  end-games ever played  in a  mainstream  Hindi film. In brief, a blockbuster.
