Prabhas makes his bonafide Bollywood debut with Adipurus

With Prabhas’s  sci-fi project directed  by Ashwin Nag  commencing its  shooting on  Saturday July 24  in Hyderabad, the  South Indian, mega-star has a  total of  a mind boggling 4  mega-projects  in  various  stages  of shooting.

Among them  the one  most likely to be released first is Radhe Shyam  , his’ first  fully-fledged  romantic film with Pooja  Hagde playing the love of  his  life. The  film shot all over Europe  is directed  by  Radha Krishna  Kumar.It is in Telugu  but will be dubbed in Hindi as well.

Next  up  is  Salaar,  the next epic from the  director  of KGF Prashanth  Neel , in Kannada  and  Hindi. He plays  the title  role.  The film is said to be  a power-packed action drama with a  strong social message.

He  makes  his  bonafide  Bollywood debut with  Adipurush, director Om Raut’s  take on the Ramayan where he plays  Lord Rama. Kriti Sanon plays Sita while Saif Ali Khan is cast as Ravan.  Interestingly  the team  wanted an actor who  neither smoked, drank, or womanized.  Prabhas  ticked  all the  boxes.

To  cap the  quartet  of projects ,he began shooting on July 24  for his untitled  sci-fi film directed by Ashwini  Nag. The film also stars  Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan.

Producer Priyanka  Dutt reveals, “It is a science fiction, and we hope to release  in  2022 depending on the  Covid situation. Contrary  to rumours  Mr Bachchan  doesn’t have a cameo. He features  in a full-length role, like him.”She  also reveals that the  film is  yet to be titled.

Uppalapati Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju known mononymously as Prabhas, is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Telugu films along with Hindi and Tamil films. He made his screen debut with the 2002 Telugu action drama film Eeswar. He has garnered the state Nandi Award for Best Actor, for his role in Mirchi. He is the first south Indian actor to have his wax sculpture at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum.
